Are you passionate about Cinema? Are you a Feminist?

Well, we are looking for volunteers to assist us throughout the year as well as during our main event. Volunteers get free entrance to the film festival including a small grab bag as a thank you for your support.

We offer volunteer and internship positions in editorial, new media, publishing, design, and development. 

​

Grant Writers (PAID):

This position will receive 5% commission of the amount secured for the Festival through grants, fellowships, sponsorship, and other means of support.

​

Event Volunteers:

The role of the event volunteers is to assist the day of the event with a variety of rolls such as set up, running ticket-booths, ect. Volunteers will be required to attend a short orientation weeks prior to the event to go through details in more depth.

​

Outreach/ Programming Staff:

This position entails helping create the event programs as well as  outreaching to different media communities to network and inform them about our event.

​

Writing/Editorial (VOLUNTEER INTERN):

The editorial intern supports the social media staff with our quarterly newsletter highlighting different independent female artists. Other duties include contacting media to gain more event exposure. Contacting high profile media staff and getting articles written up about the festival.

Design (VOLUNTEER INTERN):

The role of the design intern is to support the art director in creating artwork for the following year's art theme design. In return, the intern gets hands-on experience in helping with the production of LEFUFF and various campaigns, web content, and collateral to support the organization. This internship is designed for graphic design students with strong skills and interest in print and publishing.

Development and Outreach (VOLUNTEER INTERN):

This intern get hands-on experience assisting with coordinating LEFUFF events, fundraising campaigns, merchandise program, and our resident LEFUFF award recipients.

​

Event Photographers, Videographers:

These volunteers will be solely responsible for documenting the event in its entirety either through photography or through video.

​
